Perinatal Mental Health Therapist Serving Woodinville and All of Washington

I’m Maya Caldwell Eleazer, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) and Certified Perinatal Mental Health Professional (PMH-C) with over 24 years of experience supporting birthing parents and families. Based in Woodinville, Washington, I work with clients across the state through secure telehealth and in-person sessions.

My practice focuses on supporting individuals through the emotional and psychological challenges of pregnancy, birth, postpartum, and parenting. I also work with people coping with reproductive loss, grief, trauma, and the ongoing pressures of caregiving. Whether you're struggling with anxiety after childbirth, feeling disconnected during early parenting, or seeking to heal after loss, I offer a compassionate and grounded space for reflection, healing, and transformation.

My Approach to Perinatal Therapy

I hold a Master's Degree in Counseling Psychology from Pacifica Graduate Institute, where I trained in depth-oriented psychotherapy. My clinical foundation combines Jungian and psychoanalytic theory with feminist, humanistic, and attachment-based perspectives. This integrative, trauma-informed approach allows me to provide care that is both reflective and practical.

In my work, I prioritize non-pathologizing, culturally sensitive support. I believe that every person is the expert of their own experience, and therapy should be a space where you feel seen, heard, and empowered to make meaning from your story. Together, we explore how your past and present experiences shape your emotional world, relationships, and sense of self.

Clinical Specialties

My areas of focus include perinatal anxiety and depression, birth trauma, and emotional challenges during pregnancy and postpartum. I support grieving parents after miscarriage, stillbirth, or infant loss, and help clients process the complex emotions that come with parenting stress, identity shifts, and relational changes.

I also work with partners, birth workers, and medical professionals experiencing vicarious trauma, offering a place to process the emotional toll of caring for others.

Sessions Available Across Washington

I offer therapy sessions in person at my office in Woodinville and online throughout Washington State using a secure, HIPAA-compliant telehealth platform. My practice is open to individuals and partners navigating perinatal mental health concerns across cities like Seattle, Spokane, Tacoma, and beyond.

A Space for Healing and Growth

At the heart of my work is the belief that healing is a unique and deeply personal process. My role is to walk beside you as you navigate the emotional terrain of pregnancy, parenting, loss, or change, offering steady support, curiosity, and clinical expertise. Therapy is not about fixing what's broken; it's about holding space for what’s true, building resilience, and honoring your capacity for growth.

Let’s Work Together

If you're looking for a perinatal therapist in Washington who honors the full range of your emotional experience, I’d love to hear from you. Whether you're feeling overwhelmed, grieving, or simply needing space to reflect, therapy can help you reconnect with your inner voice and find your way forward.
