Perinatal Psychotherapy

A person's hand holding a baby's foot, with the baby sitting on the person’s lap, in a dark and softly lit room.

The perinatal period, loosely defined as conception through the first five years after birth, is one of the most transformative times in an individual’s life. Yet in our culture, many find themselves both unprepared and unsupported through the emotional, psychological, and physical complexities of this transformative time.

I offer trauma-informed and culturally sensitive perinatal mental health care for birthing parents and caregivers. In our work together, we’ll focus on strengthening your sense of self, supporting emotional regulation, and deepening the connection with your loved ones.

In my therapy practice, I utilize somatic techniques, psychodynamic talk therapy, and Lifespan Integration (LI. In addition, I have a trusted referral network of perinatal specialists in Seattle and throughout Washington State.

Parenting

Therapy for parents inSeattle and throughout Washington State offering support for new parents

Parenting in today’s world can feel emotionally exhausting and isolating. The constant demands of work, relationships, and caregiving often leave little room for self-reflection or rest. Many parents find themselves overwhelmed, burned out, or disconnected from their own needs, and unsure where to find support.

In our sessions, you’ll find a compassionate space to explore your parenting experience. We’ll address the anxiety, guilt, and identity shifts that arise, and develop strategies to help you reconnect to yourself and your values, and identify strategies that work for you and your unique family.

My approach includes tailored emotional support, practical parenting resources, and tools to strengthen self-compassion, confidence, and resilience.
